(Ashoora) 42 : 29

And among His signs are the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the living creatures that He has spread in both of them, and He is capable upon gathering them altogether whenever He wishes.

Since it is told in this verse ‘the living creatures that He has spread in both of them’, it is clear that there are living creatures beyond the earth in other planets also. But only mankind is deputed as Lord’s vicegerents in the earth as explained in verse 2: 30. Only they are taught Adhikr which is the Balance and Trust to keep the universe in its equilibrium. When everyone in the earth becomes wrongdoer and transgressor without utilizing Adhikr, the day of Judgement which is meant to gather all creatures in the heavens and earth will be happened as explained in verses 6: 47 and 46: 35. It is told in verse 22: 18 that whoever in the heavens and whoever on the earth, the sun, the moon, the stars, the mountains, the trees, the beasts, a large number from the mankind, and a large number upon whom the punishment is applicable do prostration to Allah. ‘A large upon whom the punishment is applicable’ is about the true disbelievers (Fujjar) mentioned in verses 4: 150-151 who are performing five times prayer without participation of soul. See explanation 30: 22; 31: 10-11 and 45: 13.
